What spaces does the radical left that operates outside of liberal democracy and against authoritarianism create? And does such a spatial practice, and if so, in what ways, use authoritarian means? Looking at the example of the Red Army Faction (RAF) in Germany in the 1970s, and drawing on Benjamin's essay 'Critique of Violence', I explore relations between means and ends in radical left activism.
